Alexis was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. She moved to Waco shortly after and earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law. While in law school, Alexis was the Treasurer of the Hispanic American Law School Association. She helped launch an annual book drive with a local elementary school to provide students, Pre-K through 5th grade, an opportunity to read and speak with law students. Alexis is passionate about instilling higher education in underrepresented communities.

Alexis chooses to practice family law because she wants to make a positive impact on families at a challenging time in their lives. Alexis understands that a client’s decision today will impact them for the rest of their lives. Her goal is to navigate clients toward a positive path while providing legal advice for each unique case.
