James Gerard McDermott IIJames represents clients in a broad range of criminal defense cases and has particular interests in complex litigation, major felonies, sex crimes, and appeals. The majority of James’ practice is focused in central Texas in Williamson County and Travis County – but he has been known to handled cases across the State when the need arises. Before moving to private practice, James previously worked as a public defender in Del Rio and Dallas and served as the director of the public defender division at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid. Marshall A. ThompsonMarshall is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and also earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. His family law practice covers every area of family law including divorce and child custody, paternity, child support, grandparents’ rights, interstate custody disputes, and post-divorce proceedings including modifications and enforcement actions. He also represents federal tax clients against the IRS in the administrative process and federal court. Carlos G. SalinasCarlos G. Salinas is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and Georgetown University. He handles a full range of family law matters from divorces, custody disputes, and pre- and post-marital agreements to international child abduction cases. He has extensive experience with legal issues arising from family and relationship violence, both in his own cases and in his work at the state and national level, training other attorneys on best practices for serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Viki Martino
Viki is a criminal defense attorney with extensive trial experience and a record of not-guilty verdicts. She is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, where she worked in both the Criminal Defense and the Actual Innocence Clinics and served as a Manuscript Editor on the American Journal of Criminal Law. Over the course of her legal career, Viki has served as a staff attorney for adult probation, as Chief Public Defender for a multi-county area, and continues to serve as a Municipal Court Judge.
